Hey foodies?
For fish lovers like me, you’ll enjoy this easy recipe. Only a handful of ingredients.
We start by making the marinade.
In a shallow wide plate, grate the zest of one lemon.
Add in the juice of two lemons. No need to remove the seeds.
Season with salt and add some black pepper. Taste for the seasoning and adjust accordingly.
Cut the fish fillet, lengthwise and cut into chunks. Dip the fish chunks into the marinade.
Let the fish marinate for about five minutes.
As the fish is marinating, prepare your baking dish and preheat your oven at 180°C.
Lightly grease the baking dish with some olive oil.
After five minutes, place the fish chunks on the baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.
Voila, lemon peppered tilapia.
Verdict: Very lemony, I loved it, the only addition I would make is add some sauce for the fish, maybe some yoghurt dip.
Instead of baking, you can pan sear the fish chunks, cooking them on a lightly greased skillet for 5 minutes or so on each side.
