Sausage and Broccoli Stir Fry

Just a quick sausage and broccoli stir fry.

Don’t you just love meals that take such a short time to prepare? I know I do. I shared this on my instagram yesterday and I figured I should share it here.

InstaRecipe SAUSAGE AND BROCCOLI STIR FRY Ingredients 6 beef sausages 1 medium red onion sliced 1/2 large yellow pepper sliced 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into small florets 2 tablespoons vegetable oil I teaspoon dried oregano Salt and pepper to taste. Method In a wok, add the oil and shallow fry the sausages. Once done remove and set aside. In the same wok, add the onions. Cook the onions for two minutes then add the yellow pepper slices. Cook for a minute then add the broccoli. Season with salt and black pepper. As that is cooking, cut up the sausages into small circles. Keep stirring the broccoli for even cooking,this should take 4-6 mins. Once the broccoli is crunchy and cooked add the sausages and dried oregano and stir to combine.   • 6 beef sausages
  • 1 medium red onion sliced
  • 1/2 large yellow pepper sliced
  • 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions

In a wok, add the oil and shallow fry the sausages.

Once done remove and set aside. In the same wok, add the onions.

Cook the onions for two minutes then add the yellow pepper slices. Cook for a minute then add the broccoli.

Season with salt and black pepper.
