It’s always fun trying out new dishes. When Kaz of Kathy’s Kitchen released a sample recipe from her upcoming cookbook, Eggs, I was eager to try it out.
It was my first time making a quiche so I followed the recipe to the letter, I didn’t want to mess up. The recipe is pretty easy. Another thing that made me want to try it out is because it involved eggs. I love eggs and their versatility.
Making of the quiche is pretty fast, just prep all your ingredients then prepare the dough for the pastry.
Once the dough is prepped and resting in the fridge, get started on the onions.
In goes the zucchini,I decided to slice them lengthwise.
Now the egg part.
For the pastry,I didn’t do a neat job rolling it out but it still turned out great.
Pop it in the oven and patiently wait.
Half an hour later…
Dig in and enjoy.
Need i say anything more?
The quiche was delicious, the taste of the caramelised onions added a lovely touch.
You too can make this amazing quiche. you can get the recipe from here .
Thank you Kaz, looking forward to the cookbook.
