Looking to indulge yourself with a refreshing drink? How about a milkshake? And I’m not talking about buying , make some right in the comfort of your home. A tall glass of strawberry banana milkshake.
Bananas tend to ripen at the same time and thus run the risk of some getting spoiled. To avoid this is always best to freeze some. Just peel the bananas , slice them up, put them in a container or a ziploc bag and freeze for later use. The frozen bananas can be used in making homemade ice cream or smoothies or even milkshakes.
Milkshakes are very quick to put together and ensure your blender is hooked up before scooping out the ice cream.
In a blender add the milk, frozen bananas, ice cream and strawberries.
Pulse until the frozen bananas are creamed. The milkshake will have a thick consistency which is perfect.
In a chilled glass, pour in the strawberry banana milkshake and add in a scoop of ice cream. Indulgence is the aim, no counting of calories with this recipe.
Sit back and enjoy your milkshake.
Holidays were made for this.
Note; Ensure the bananas are frozen for best results.
