Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!
I love chocolate, so when I got the invitation to go for the media launch of the dusitD2 Chocolate Festival to celebrate Valentine’s Day I just couldn’t pass it up.
The annual festival is in it’s second year after the success of the first one. The head pastry Chef, Anis Mouldi with his team have organised a gourmet chocolate buffet menu which will have over 40 chocolate designs. These will include warm chocolate fondant, chocolate tablet, pralines,mousses, chocolate entremets among others.
Let’s just pause for a moment, CHOCOLATE BUFFET!
Guests will indulge in single origin chocolate from Sao Tome, Madagascar, Brazil and Ecuador.
The festival runs from 11th February to 14th February 2017, starting at 5 pm everyday until 9 pm but on Valentine’s Day it will extend to 11pm.
For just Kshs. 1000 you get to enjoy four decadent items from the chocolate buffet. Tickets can be bought at the hotel’s entrance.

A chocolate lovers dream, be sure to try the dark chocolate sea salt caramel bar, it made me think of a snickers bar. Yum!
