Simply Pocket It!

How many tabs do you currently have open? What are the odds you’ll eventually get to them? If you are like me probably never.

Thankfully with Pocket, an app that allows users to save articles and videos for later you can close those tabs. The app also enables you to read the articles when offline, how handy?

In an era where the internet is a vast scape with almost everything calling to you, pocket offers the perfect reprieve as users can get to read their saved articles sans the noise. In addition to saving your articles for later read, it offers recommendations from people you follow.

I enjoy the audio feature most as I can listen to articles even as I work around my kitchen.

Pocket in collaboration with Aga Khan University has curated a series of collections from Kenyan journalists and content creators. One such article is this one by Eunice Kilonzo who in the article titled The Joy of Missing Out explores the the reintegration from social distancing.

The app is available on Android and iOS.
