Honey Glazed Chicken Drumsticks

I believe I have said this on several occasions, I love chicken.

Some weeks back, I was craving chicken as usual :p and I just had to make some. After googling for simple recipes I landed on this you tube video and I decided to try it out with some few variations of course.

For easy clean up line your baking dish with some aluminium foil and grease with some little olive oil.

I made some spice rub for the drumsticks, it was a mixture of some dried herbs that I had in my pantry, paprika, salt and black pepper. Generously rub the spice mix onto the drumsticks.

Place the coated drumsticks on the prepared dish and in a pre heated oven bake for 25 – 30 minutes.

As the chicken is baking, we can now make the honey glaze.

I lightly oiled my bowl so that the honey could easy slip out of it.

Pour in about a quarter to half a cup of honey.

Add a tablespoons of soy sauce, I normally use the dark soy sauce.

After 25 or so minutes of baking, remove the drumsticks from the oven.

They are already looking pretty juicy.

    • Hey Abby, for this recipe I am not sure of how to prepare it without an oven, however, I can research and revert back to you.

        • Hey Lucy, it depends with the kind of microwave that you use. Others have a grill option, if yours has, just read the manual for the way to use it for grilling.

    • Hi Grace?
I soak them in warm water to loosen the gunk then I rub the bristles with some dishwashing paste. I work through the bristles to remove the loosen dirt, I rinse and voila clean brushes. Leave to air dry on the rack.
